Rules
This list is not all inclusive of all possible modifications but an outline of the “spirit” of the rules. Wheels that are found to be overtly modified will be disallowed. If found to be overly modified, new wheels may be installed and the car reinspected as long as time permits.
Sportsmanship
Without a doubt, the Pinewood Derby is an exciting event with solid competition. It’s designed to be a fun event for our scouts and families and can be a lesson on being a graceful winner or a graceful loser. We encourage everyone to show good sportsmanship and scout-like behaviors.
